Loading images from URL

Hello!

I have a wwLayoutGrid with a wwLayoutPanel within a wwImageControl in my mobile app. Is there a way to load an image from an url? I am using for my images a cloud service. I would like to use it similar to another component which allows url as image source. Advantage is that the images will be loaded faster (parallel). If it is not possible can I use non Firepower components within the wwLayoutPanel component?

  Sorry for the delay in response.  We are having trouble with our Zendesk notification system. To load from a url, you can take a look at the following project included with FirePower. This project uses a layoutgrid, and loads the image in a separate thread from another website.
