Enter negative number in datagrid with numberpad on Android

Delphi 12, latest Firepower

Have an app that has been used for couple of years without any significant issues until recent compile with Delphi 12. The issue is with editing an integer field in a Firepower data grid. For the field keyboard type I have selected the numberpad type. Previously users have always been able to select the minus sign to input a negative number but this no longer works since the last compile for Android.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Sorry, but just saw your message. I am not able to reproduce your problem, as I am able to enter the - sign. Can you provide a project that exhibits the problem. I tried with our main demo DataGridCustomColors field lengthcm and was able to enter a - sign and have it stored.

Above is small link for project to demonstrate the problem. I have tested on my device (Samsung Galaxy Tab6 Lite, Android 13, One UI Version 5.1.1) and virtual keyboard (numberpad) will not allow entry of a negative number.

From my testing, it seems like a bug with the Samsung keyboard. When I switch to the google keyboard gboard the problem does not occur. Can you confirm? The problem also happens if you just use a TEdit.

Yes, I can confirm your findings. I have now installed and tested with gBoard and all works fine again.
