Is the intended behaviour that ConsistentEditWidth is not working when the orientation is set to horizontal?

If yes: is there a way to make the RecordViewPanel expand the edits anyway?

  With horizontal there are multiple controls on the same row so there is no consistent edit width. With vertical since there is only control per line, it will expand the controls to the form width.  I'm not sure what you are expecting or proposing with horizontal layout and ConsistentEditWidth.  It is working as designed.  Perhaps you can provide a screen shot of what you want since I am not visualizing it.

  Basically i would expect every Edit to use the complete width even with horizontal.

  As it is right now ConsistentEditWidth doesn´t influence the behaviour of the controls in any way if the orientation is horizontal. I would expect it to behave the same way.

  Is it possible to have the caption above the Edits in vertical mode? That would work for me as well.
