Scaling for High-DPI

Hi Roy,

In your article about handling High-DPI monitors you say that Form scaling should be set to False. I'm upgrading my apps to handle High-DPI screens correctly When testing with the W10 175% display setting, my forms and components remain at the original size. If I set Forms' Scaling to True, they scale up perfectly - as do all the components - and would look fine on a higher DPI screen. I've noticed that most articles on this subject recommend Scaling:= True. Is there a reason for your recommendation?

  Have you set the application.manifest to use dpi awareness.  If so, then scaling will conflict with the control's handling of dpi.
