TwwDBLookupCombo Default value

How I can set the default value to a TwwDBLookupCombo when I open the form?

I've tried to set text property but It always shows blank...

  The lookup combo uses the datasource/datafield settings to get the value from the database to display. If your lookup combo does not have its datasource/datafield assigned then it is unassigned. You can assign the value by setting the lookupvalue property.

  Hi,

  thank's for your answer. 

  I knew that, but assigning value to lookupvalue property does not work, I don't understand...

  when I execute the program the combobox text is empty, when I click on the dropdown button the text shown the correct value.

  I need the default value will be shown when starting the program
