horrible color datagrid

with most styles the color when selecting a record in edit is horrible there is no contrast.
How do I remove the yellow effect under the text?

  What style are you using?  Are you using a style where edit controls are displayed like this. When the editor gets focus it is displayed by an edit control which uses editstyle. In particular look at its selection style. Check your style manager. Also check how an edit control is displayed outside the grid. It should be the same.
