Unusual wwDBGrid memo behavior

I've made very few changes in the application I'm working on which contains one wwDBGrid with the mGridShow property set to true. Even though grid data shows properly in the grid column, when I double-click a memo cell the memo dialog instead shows data from the first data field in the table. I think I must have inadvertently changed some other grid property without realizing it. Any idea which property could cause that kind of behavior?

  Check the code in your OnMemoOpen event. I'm guessing the problem lies in the code there or the components you are referencing there.

  Roy, sorry for the long delay. The problem turned out to be a simple indexing issue and then I forgot I had posted the question. Thanks for the suggestions in any case.
